Five-star point guard Miles Sadler is announcing his college commitment on Sunday, Nov. 16, League RDY’s Sam Kayser first reported and Sadler confirmed to RTI on Wednesday morning. Sadler is deciding between a top group that includes Maryland, Oklahoma, Southern Cal, Tennessee, UCLA and West Virginia.

Sadler ranks as a five-star recruit and the No. 26 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The 5-foot-10 prospect ranks as the No. 3 point guard and the No. 3 player in the state of Arizona in the 2026 cycle. A Canada native, Sadler plays his prep basketball at Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale.
The blue-chip point guard officially visited Tennessee back in September as the Vols have long been after the blue-chip point guard.
“Everything about seeing what the campus looks like when it’s alive during a football game was something I really was thinking about,” Sadler told RTI following the visit. “Everything about the campus and the atmosphere and the people there are very supportive. They really support all their athletic programs which I think is a very good thing.”

The blue-chip point guard has also taken official visits to Oklahoma, UC Santa Barbara and West Virginia. He has not taken official visits to Maryland, Southern Cal or USC. With his commitment just a few days away, West Virginia appears to be Tennessee’s biggest threat to land Sadler.
Tennessee basketball currently boasts three commits in the 2026 recruiting cycle including four-star wing Ralph Scott, four-star wing Manny Green and three-star point guard Marquis Clark. Rick Barnes and his staff do not believe that Clark’s commitment will affect their ability to land a high level point guard in this class.
The Vols are also recruiting five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr. He officially visited Tennessee for the Duke exhibition game a few weeks ago amidst a number of fall official visits. Rippey does not seem to be any rush to make a decision.
Tennessee’s 2026 recruiting class currently ranks No. 13 nationally and No. 4 in the SEC according to the 247sports team rankings.
