We’re just days from Tennessee football and New Mexico State meeting on the gridiron for the Vols’ return to action after a bye week. Ahead of the real-life meeting, I fired up the College Football 26 video game to simulate the matchup in Knoxville.
The result was dominance on both sides of the ball en route to an easy win. We’ll see how accurate the video game version is when UT meets the Aggies on Saturday at 4:15 p.m. ET. The game will air on SEC Network.

I was asked about the settings I use for the simulations. My game is on Heisman difficulty with 15-minute quarters, no accelerated clock and even teams ‘off’. I put the correct team at home and match the time of the game up to the best choice possible. I don’t control either team, bench players we know will be inactive and then let it play out once and the results are as follows.
