No. 20 Tennessee Basketball picked up a 91-66 win over Rice on Monday night in Knoxville to improve to 4-0 on the season. The Vols led for the entire game, with freshman wing Nate Ament providing a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds on the stat sheet.
Tennessee center Felix Okpara was explosive in Monday’s game, putting up a career-high 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting with a perfect 4-of-4 mark from the free-throw line. Ja’Kobi Gillespie had 17 points and Ethan Burg had 11 points to round out the Vols’ quartet of double-digit scorers.
