On Thursday, Lady Vols basketball hits the road to play another in-state opponent. Kim Caldwell’s squad will meet MTSU in Murfreesboro for the third game of a four-game series.
In the 2023-24 season, Kellie Harper’s final year as head coach, the Blue Raiders defeated Tennessee in Huntsville. Last season, Caldwell steered the Lady Vols to a home win to even up the set. After this year’s meeting, the programs will play a final game in Knoxville to conclude the series.
So far, Caldwell has gotten the team off to a 3-1 start with three straight wins. The team opened the year with a three-point loss to NC State in Greensboro before beating ETSU by 50, UT Martin by 11 and Belmont by 10.
