
Ahead of its non-conference matchup against Tennessee State on Thursday evening in Knoxville, Tennessee held a media availability on Wednesday afternoon with one coach and one player.
The Vols had assistant coach Gregg Polinsky speak first, as he talked about several topics including Ja’Kobi Gillespie’s progression, Tennessee’s lob threats at the rim, early-season impressions of the team, and much more.
Tennessee also had freshman guard Clarence Massamba spend a few moments with the media. He spoke about the transition from EuroBall, getting acclimated to the speed of the game at college hoops, ways that he wants to help the team during his development, and more.
No. 20 Tennessee will host Tennessee State at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday night in Knoxville. The Vols have a 98.8% chance to win, according to ESPN Analytics.
