Former Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson recorded his second career receiving touchdown on Sunday afternoon during the Cleveland Browns’ win over the Raiders in Las Vegas.
Early in the fourth quarter with the Browns looking for a touchdown to put the game well out of reach, rookie quarterback and former Colorado signal caller Shedeur Sanders swung a pass to his right to Sampson behind the line of scrimmage. Sampson made the catch and turned upfield behind a quartet of blockers.
Sampson weaved through the first set of defenders before hitting the afterburners. The former Tennessee record-setter burst through a gap on the right sideline and was on the races. The 66-yard touchdown was the second of Sampson’s career and the first of Sanders’ career.
