After a 2-1 showing at the Players Era Festival before Thanksgiving, the Tennessee basketball team will head back out on the road for its next non-conference game. The Vols will travel to Syracuse to take on the Orange as part of the 2025 ACC-SEC Challenge on Tuesday night on ESPN2. The Orange are 4-3 on the year, with all three losses coming in Players Era games last week in Vegas (vs Houston, vs Kansas, vs Iowa State).
Ahead of the Vols’ trip up to New York, Tennessee had head coach Rick Barnes and center Felix Okpara speak to the media for a few moments on Monday morning. Both Barnes and Okpara gave their closing thoughts on the Vols’ 2-1 stretch in the tournament last week and their opening thoughts on the Syracuse game on Tuesday night.
