Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and select UT players met with the media on Friday in Nashville as the Vols continue prep for the Music City Bowl. The Volunteers will take on Illinois in Nissan Stadium on Tuesday evening at 5:30 p.m. ET.
Heupel spoke to the media for about five minutes about the opportunity that playing in the game presents for the players, what the secondary has looked like without Colton Hood, evaluating freshmen and the younger players during the bowl season, and much more.
Tennessee also had three players speak to the media, with quarterback Joey Aguilar, linebacker Edwin Spillman, and safety Andre Turrentine.
