Tennessee football has already added multiple defensive backs through the transfer portal, but isn’t yet satisfied. The Vols are also in the mix for a couple of cornerbacks, including a young one who just entered the transfer portal.
After transferring out of Wisconsin on Monday, Omillio Agard already has a list of offers, according to a report from Kristian Dyer of 247. In a post from Dyer (that Agard also reposted), he apparently holds offers from Tennessee, Virginia, Colorado, Iowa State, Arkansas and a number of Group of Five programs. The only reported visit that has been lined up is to see UVA.
Agard just rounded out his redshirt-freshman season with the Badgers. In 10 games, he recorded 21 tackles, a sack, an interception and a pair of pass breakups. He started in three of these games.
As a true freshman in 2024, Agard did not play and earned a redshirt. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.

If Agard does end up scheduling a visit to Tennessee and ultimately committing, he’d join a room that has two high-end players already at the cornerback position. The Vols return Ty Redmond after a standout true freshman season a year ago. He was thrust into action due to injury and struggled at first, but turned the season around by the end of the year.
Tennessee also brings in Auburn starting corner Kayin Lee. He is projected to be a starter for the Vols, as well. Agard could push for a starting role, but his three years of eligibility also give some room for him to rotate in and develop before sliding into a bigger role.
Other defensive backs that Tennessee has brought in so far include safeties Qua Moss of Kansas State, Dejuan Lane of Penn State and TJ Metcalf of Michigan.
