Things seemed to be trending in the right direction for Tennessee football to land West Virginia offensive line transfer Donovan Haslam. Pete Nakos of On3 logged a prediction for him to land with the Vols after his visit to Knoxville earlier this week.
However, Haslam is still set to take an additional look before committing anywhere. According to a report from Nakos, Haslam will now take a visit to see Arkansas, as well.
Haslam is a versatile offensive lineman who played snaps at left guard, right guard and left tackle last season. He started the year coming off the bench, but then started the final five games of the season at left guard for the Mountaineers.
The 6-foot-3, 346-pound offensive lineman earned a 61.7 PFF grade while playing 444 snaps last season. He earned a 74.7 pass block grade and a 59.7 run block grade during the 2025 season.

Haslam spent the first three years of his college career at Austin Peay. Haslam suffered an injury during the 2023 season, which led to him redshirting and gives him one more year of eligibility. He’s played 1,205 total snaps during his college career.
It’s unclear exactly how Haslam will fit into Tennessee’s offensive line next season, but the Vols have been looking to add a veteran player for depth in the portal. Haslam is an ideal fit because of his ability to play both inside and outside.
He would have the potential to start right away for Tennessee if he committed, though. The Vols return sure-fire starters David Sanders Jr. at left tackle, Sam Pendleton at center and Wendell Moe Jr. at one of the two guard spots. UT also brought in LSU transfer Ory Williams, who projects to compete for the right tackle role.
If Haslam did pick the Vols, he’d likely be in a battle for the other guard position alongside the likes of Jesse Perry, who can also play tackle, and Sham Umarov.
