Tennessee Basketball went into Coleman Coliseum on Saturday night with a winless road record but came out of it with one of its biggest wins of the season. Nate Ament’s career-high 29 points and Ja’Kobi Gillespie’s 24 points helped propel the Vols to a 79-73 win over No. 17 Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

From the Tennessee perspective, the Vols showed grit and toughness in the win. Tennessee was previously 0-3 on the road but stepped up to the challenge. From the national perspective, though, people are talking about Charles Bediako.

The Alabama big man made his re-debut for the Crimson Tide on Saturday night after a court ruling granted him the ability to return to college basketball. He had previously been playing for the Delaware Blue Coats NBA G-League team.

Tennessee rightfully had some fun with the situation after the game, setting off a wave of trolling from the college basketball world on social media.
