Due to inclement weather, Lady Vols basketball’s game at Ole Miss on Monday, Jan. 26, has been postponed. It was initially moved up to an earlier timeslot, but will be played at a later date, yet to be announced, instead.

The Lady Vols enter the weekend ranked No. 17 in the country. The Rebels clock in at No. 18. However, the AP Poll will be updated at noon ET on Monday, and both teams may be on the move. Most recently, Tennessee downed No. 11 Kentucky at home, and Ole Miss beat Missouri.

The Lady Vols’ win over Kentucky came down to the wire. Tennessee had to come up with a stop at the end of regulation, with Talaysia Cooper grabbing a steal to seal the game. Mia Pauldo led the way in scoring with 21 points on 9-for-22 shooting from the field. No other Lady Vol was in double figures.

“She listens. I think she is a very good listener. She absorbs things,” Caldwell said about Pauldo’s game. “It’s funny, I was talking to the broadcasters before the game and we were talking about her not turning the ball over. And tonight was probably the most times she turned the ball over in a long time. But I still don’t really have to worry about her when she has the ball in her hands. I know she’s going to make the right play and she’s continued to be spectacular and I don’t have to overcoach her.

“I just know that she’s going to go out there and I just have to put her in space and let her play free. And I think she’s such a humble player and comes in here and then she, for the majority of the time, practices the hardest every single day. And so, she deserves it.”

Next on the schedule, Tennessee will host Mississippi State on Thursday, Jan. 29. That game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET and airs on SECN+.
