It’s game day! Kinda. Tennessee football is holding its annual Orange and White Game spring scrimmage on Saturday, April 11, in anticipation of the upcoming 2026 season.
With attendance free for fans, the Vols held their traditional Vol Walk, as well, just outside of Neyland Stadium. Fans packed the road to greet the 2026 Volunteers as they entered the stadium.
Joining Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel as he got off the bus was VFL Alontae Taylor. He recently signed a deal to return to the state of Tennessee with the NFL’s Titans. Former quarterback Joey Aguilar was also in attendance, though he watched as a spectator from the crowd.
Other notable names on video include quarterback George MacIntyre, offensive tackle David Sanders Jr., running back DeSean Bishop, wide receiver TK Keys and more.
The Orange and White Game will be the third scrimmage of the spring slate for the Vols, but first open to the public. Heupel met with the media after the first in May.
“Created a couple of turnovers, but played assignment sound, fit the run game pretty well and didn’t give up a lot of big plays,” Heupel said. “So good day, I thought. Through the first seven days, those guys really continue to grow and build and master what we’re doing on that side of the football. And offensively, there’s some real positives, too. Couple penalties that we got to play smarter in as we continue to learn how to play smart football. All in all, a really good day of working. Got some special teams work in, as well.”
