On Tuesday, Lady Vols basketball landed its fifth transfer portal commitment. Tennessee brings in Rylie Theuerkauf, adding its second player from Georgia in this portal cycle.
The Lady Vols still have work to be done, though. Along with incoming freshman Gabby Minus, there are just six players on the roster. This is the result of every potential returner from this past year’s team entering the portal. So far, six of the eight departures have transferred to their next stop, all at Power Four locations.
Most recently, that featured former five-star freshmen Deniya Prawl and Jaida Civil committed. Prawl is headed to Louisville, and Civil will join Ole Miss. Kaniya Boyd is the lone departure that remains uncommitted. She is reportedly visiting Arkansas this week.
