
Tennessee basketball landed its seventh transfer portal commit on Monday morning when star Wake Forest transfer Juke Harris officially committed to Rick Barnes and his staff.
The Vols have landed seven transfers including from five players ranked in the top 100 of various portal rankings. Who did Tennessee beat out to land its seven transfers? Taking a look here.

Juke Harris, Wake Forest Guard
Harris committed to Tennessee over Michigan, North Carolina and Louisville. The Second Team All-ACC selection visited Michigan the week after the transfer portal and then hosted both North Carolina and Tennessee on in-home visits after that.
Rick Barnes and members of Tennessee’s staff visited Harris in California last week and got Harris to the finish line despite Louisville making a late push for the highly touted transfer.
Harris is coming off a sophomore season where he averaged 21.4 points on 44.4% shooting from the field and 33.3% shooting from three-point range. The Salisbury, North Carolina native made 87 three-pointers during the 2025-26 season.
Terrence Hill Jr, VCU Combo Guard
Hill committed to Tennessee over Kansas. The 6-foot-1 guard visited Kansas and then visited Tennessee before choosing the Vols over the Jayhawks.
Hill is coming off a standout sophomore year at VCU where he averaged 15 points, 2.8 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-3 guard is a talented and efficient scorer, shooting 46.6% from the field and made 81 three-pointers at a 37% clip last season.
The Portland native will come in and play an abundance of point guard during his first season in Knoxville while also being capable of playing off the ball.
Dai Dai Ames, Cal Combo Guard
Ames committed to Tennessee over Ole Miss, Kansas and Xavier. The Vols got Ames first visit and locked down his commitment.
The Chicago native was originally scheduled to visit Xavier, Kansas and Ole Miss following his trip to Tennessee but cancelled those and committed to the Vols instead.
Ames is coming off a strong junior season at Cal where he averaged 16.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and two steals per game. The 6-foot-2 guard was an efficient scorer, shooting 46.4% from the field, 37.6% from three-point range and 85% from the foul line.
Tyler Lundblade, Belmont Guard
Lundblade committed to Tennessee over Baylor, Illinois, Kansas State and Virginia. The first commit in Tennessee’s transfer haul, the Vols locked up Lundblade before the portal officially opened due to the shooter being a graduate transfer.
Tennessee hosted Lundblade on a visit the day after the season ended and locked up his commitment before the visit was over. Kansas State was the initial team connected with Casey Alexander leaving Belmont for the Little Apple, but a number of other top teams are involved.
Lundblade is coming off a standout season at Belmont, averaging 15.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game on his way to earning MVC Player of the Year honors. One of the top shooters in the country, Lundblade made 112 three-pointers at a 40.9% clip last season. Lundblade made the seventh most triples nationally last season.

Jalen Haralson, Notre Dame Wing
Haralson committed to Tennessee over North Carolina and Ohio State. The star freshman only visited Tennessee and the Vols locked down his commitment shortly after it ended.
Haralson averaged 16.2 points, four rebounds and 2.6 assists per game as a freshman at Notre Dame last season. The 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward played both on the wing and at power forward for the Fighting Irish and shot 51.5% from the field and 20% from three-point range.
Braedan Lue, Kennesaw State Power Forward
Lue committed to Tennessee over Memphis and UAB. He visited Tennessee and originally planned on visiting UAB afterwards but ended up cancelling that visit and committing to the Vols instead.
The 6-foot-9, 235-pound power forward is coming off a sophomore season at Kennesaw State where he averaged 10.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.2 assists per game. He scored in double-figures 19 times last season and scored 20-plus points three separate times.
Lue is a Conference USA All-Defensive Team selection who brings Tennessee positional versatility and rim protection.
Miles Rubin, Loyola (Chicago) Center
Rubin committed to Tennessee over Clemson, Marquette and Syracuse. The Vols hosted Rubin on his first visit and locked up his commitment shortly afterwards.
Rubin spent the first three years of his career with Loyola (Chicago) and is coming off a junior season where he averaged 11.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 2.3 assists per game.
The Chicago native is a high-level rim protector, ranking 12th nationally last season by blocking 76 shots. Rubin blocked 85 shots as a sophomore and, again, 76 shots as a true freshman.
