Tennessee softball is headed to the NCAA Tournament and is hosting a regional for the 21st consecutive season. The Lady Vols earned a 2-seed and is the No. 7 overall seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament, getting its run started on Friday afternoon in Knoxville.
Tennessee will begin by hosting Northern Kentucky, with 7-seed Virginia and Indiana also competing for a spot in the super regionals. If the Lady Vols do advance to another supers, it’ll take place in Knoxville against the winner of Georgia’s Athens Regional.
Tennessee’s opening game against NKU is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network on Friday. The following game against the Hoos and Hoosiers is slated for 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The winner of those two games will play the following day at 3 p.m. The game after will be an elimination game between the losers of Friday’s games.
