Lady Vols basketball had another piece of its 2026-27 out-of-conference schedule revealed on Friday. Tennessee will officially play Virginia Tech in the ACC-SEC Challenge on the road.
This will pit UT against a pair of former Lady Vols. This offseason, forwards Alyssa Latham and Lauren Hurst both transferred to join the Hokies. Latham played two years with Tennessee and is a senior, and Hurst played one and is a sophomore.
This now marks seven games on the Lady Vols’ out-of-conference schedule revealed, with three having official game dates. This features four games against power programs, including the annual matchup with UConn, which is typically inserted in the midst of SEC play.
Tennessee will also, of course, play its annual SEC schedule. This slate will be played with a completely new 15-player roster constructed for year three under Kim Caldwell.
