Former Tennessee head football coach Phillip Fulmer is expected to be named Tennessee’s next athletic director.
Gary Patterson: Tennessee Thought He “Couldn’t Handle the Big Stage”
According to an interview with ESPN, Gary Patterson said Tennessee told him they didn’t think he “could handle the big stage” back in 2009.
