The 10 Biggest Offseason Questions

Quinten Dormady-1-34. What does the quarterback depth chart look like?

It’s pretty safe to say that Joshua Dobbs enters spring as the starting quarterback, and it’s hard to see that status changing all the way up to the 2015 opener. But how does the depth chart stack up behind him with the possibility of having as many as five scholarship QBs on the roster during the 2015 season – Dobbs, Nathan Peterman, Quinten Dormady, Jauan Jennings and Sheriron Jones? Peterman, who already has his degree, could transfer elsewhere and potentially not have to sit out next year, but he’s still on campus and working with the team, so we can’t assume anything yet. Dormady and Jennings are on campus and Jones seems to be a firm commitment that is scheduled to join in the summer. Perhaps the initial depth chart looks something like 1. Dobbs 2. Peterman 3. Furthest developed freshman, and then try to redshirt the others. Or maybe attrition, injury or other factors changes all of that. Regardless, it’ll be interesting to see what the pecking order looks like come August.
