The good news for the Vols – and this hasn’t always been the case over the past few years – is that they have options in the secondary. They’re expected to return three safeties – Brian Randolph, LaDarrell McNeil and Todd Kelly Jr. – who all have significant playing experience. The same can be said about cornerbacks Cam Sutton and Emmanuel Moseley. And then there are a host of other players such as RaShaan Gaulden, Malik Foreman, Devaun Swafford, Evan Berry and others who have some experience as well and could factor into the conversation. Add top-ranked JUCO corner Justin Martin and some other commitments/enrollees such as Micah Abernathy, Stephen Griffin and Darrell Miller, and the Vols will have a lot of options. It’ll just be a matter of piecing it together to get the best group on the field.
