Kevin: What a joke. The only people who will bet on this game will be hammered degenerates who just need to find a small bit of joy in their lives. I have no idea where to go with this because common sense says that Vanderbilt will be at least enough improved to beat a team like Western Kentucky, but common sense also suggests that Vandy wouldn’t get blown out by Temple last year. The Commodores have lost a legitimate offensive linemen in Andrew Jelks, and their top receiver in C.J. Duncan. I don’t know enough about Western Kentucky to discuss, and frankly I’m not going to spend my time learning about them. Saddle up with a stout whiskey drink at 8 p.m. on Saturday, and bet a small amount on Western Kentucky -2 (at the time this was written) because if Vanderbilt loses and you win money, that’s a solid day. Forget about the Over/Under because who knows whether these two teams will be collectively bad enough to get into a shootout or not score at all. Anchor Down!
John: I couldn’t agree anymore with KH’s first point. If you’re playing this game, you need to proceed directly to rehab. Or prison, which, if I understand it correctly, is not allowed to dole out cruel and unusual punishment, which is exactly what watching this game strikes me as. The Hilltoppers cover.
