The West has been brutal on Tennessee recently. The Vols get another shot in what looks to be a challenging crossover game at Texas A&M on Oct. 8 – a game that will be the third in the gauntlet that is the middle of the schedule. Tennessee hasn’t defeated anybody from the West since Ole Miss in 2010. Even worse, the Vols haven’t won on the road in the West since 2007 (Mississippi State). That was three head coaches ago for UT. A&M is currently sliding after Alabama handled the Aggies at home and they were virtually a no-show in a 23-3 loss at Ole Miss last week. But this will likely still be at least a nine-win football team that returns loads of talent in 2016. After playing Florida and Georgia, it’ll be a huge challenge for the Vols to go to College Station for the first time and pull out a win.
