2. Florida

The Vols have battled the streak/the curse or whatever you want to call it for awhile now, but many Tennessee fans are convinced that this will be the year that it ends.

There’s good reason to believe that. Florida, a team that won the SEC East last season but struggled down the stretch, will be starting an inexperienced quarterback and must replace several key players such as Vernon Hargreaves III, Antonio Morrison, Keanu Neal, Kelvin Taylor and others.

Still, there will be plenty of talent on that roster and until UT ends the streak, it’s tough to feel good about its chances against Florida in any scenario. On paper, Georgia is arguably a tougher matchup, but I give the edge to the Gators until the Vols can prove they’re able to get a win in this series.
