10. Appalachian State
This is a toss-up between App. St and Ohio, but I went with the Mountaineers because they finished 11-2 (7-1 Sun Belt) in 2015 and they’re the poster boys for upsets after what they did to Michigan in 2007.
Sophomore quarterback Taylor Lamb put up some good numbers last year and, though they lose a lot of production at receiver, most of the defense, which was among the best in the Sun Belt, is also back. Tennessee should be able to take care of business in this one, but everybody knows what this program is capable of.
