5. Defensive-end rotation
Main contenders: Derek Barnett, Corey Vereen, Jonathan Kongbo, LaTroy Lewis, Kyle Phillips, Dimarya Mixon, Darrell Taylor, Austin Smith
All of these guys should play in some capacity at some point in the season. Figuring out exactly what the rotation will look like is the “problem” to deal with in camp. Barnett is the clear leader in the group. But finding a starter on the other end, as well as figuring out who the next guys in are remains on the to-do list. This might be UT’s deepest defensive end group in over a decade.
