Secondary
Tennessee’s secondary wasn’t tested much through the air since Alabama was largely content to run all day. So while there weren’t any glaring meltdowns in pass defense, the secondary, like the rest of the defense, struggled to consistently get off blocks and get the Alabama rushers on the ground. The entire defense got whipped, but the secondary has to shoulder a fair amount of the blame for the huge plays in the run game for the Tide.
