Mistake after mistake was made by the coaching staff in this one. Whether it was calling the wrong play when needing a first down or calling the wrong coverage on defense, the players often times had to overcome the coaching in this game. The biggest sin, however, was not giving John Kelly the ball a single time on a hand-off at the goal line. Tennessee ran seven plays inside Florida’s 10-yard line, and they threw it all seven times. Kelly only had two carries in the second half inside the Gators’ 20-yard line.
