John Kelly was once again the most consistent and reliable performer for the Vols’ offense. He set career highs in rushing yards and receiving yards, and he deserved to get the ball more. Kelly finished with 141 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries and 96 receiving yards on six receptions. If he had been given the ball more in the red zone, the Vols probably win this game. Freshman Ty Chandler also had a solid game, carrying the ball seven times for 30 yards and catching two passes for 31 yards.
