9. The recruiting freak
You’ve probably met the person that can recite the visitor list for the 2019 class for the upcoming game. Yes, recruiting is the lifeblood of college athletics and it’s spawned an entire industry that follows it. But some fans take it to an extreme level – following the every move of every recruit in the next four classes.
A working knowledge of some of the top upcoming prospects the Vols are after is healthy for Vol fans. Twitter stalking, obsession, and getting to the point where all you think about during a game is how it will affect recruits is taking it a bit far. They even blame fans’ negativity for affecting recruiting.
These fans don’t toe the line; they jump right over it.
