Offensive Line
It’s hard to grade this unit without putting it on a little bit of a curve. Two of Tennessee’s best offensive linemen, Trey Smith and Chance Hall, didn’t play on Saturday. That left an already thin unit with barely enough scholarship players to fill out a two-deep depth chart. And even then, walk-ons were playing on the White Team at times. But the Orange Team line held up fairly well, and they did a solid job in run blocking. The White Team line, however, wasn’t nearly as good. But they also had mostly first and second-year players on the field, and sometimes they had walk-ons helping out as well.
