Defensive Line
Shy Tuttle showed some good burst and forced a fumble late, and Jonathan Kongbo and Kyle Phillips both got sacks for the White Team. But overall, the defensive line was a little underwhelming, especially given the state of Tennessee’s offensive line. It wasn’t a bad game by this unit, and they were able to get some decent pressure fairly consistently. But how much of that was because of the Vols’ offensive line and how much was because of the actual skill of the defense? Kivon Bennett on the Orange Team also had a sack and 1.5 tackles for loss.
