With Jauan Jennings, Marquez Callaway, Tyler Byrd, and Brandon Johnson all set to graduate after the 2019 season, Tennessee needs to add a couple receivers in their 2020 class. The Vols signed four-star Ramel Keyton and speedy three-star Jerrod Means in their 2019 class, but the 2020 class needs a couple receivers in it, too.

Right now, Tennessee has a receiver committed to them in three-star Antonio Barber from Rock Hill, South Carolina. He was a four-star at one point but has since dropped to a three-star. He committed to the Vols back in late April of last year.

Assuming UT keeps Barber committed to them in this class, they’ll still probably still want to take another receiver or two in this cycle.

Both Porter Rooks and Mushin Muhammad III out of North Carolina are two of the biggest targets for the Vols in the 2020 cycle, and Washington D.C. prospect Rakim Jarrett will be someone to watch out for, as well Jermaine Burton out of California.

If none of those options pan out for Tennessee, expect the Vols to make a strong push for one of the lower-rated targets on their board.

Jalin Hyatt just recently committed to Virginia Tech, but the Vols like what they’ve seen from him. He plays at the same high school Bryce Thompson did. Reese Smith out of Danville, Kentucky picked up an offer from Tennessee back in September of last year, and he’s already visited UT’s campus for a game.
