I think a lot of people are overthinking this game this season. UAB had a fantastic year last year, but they lose a ton of players off that team heading into this season. This should be a rebuilding year for UAB, but maybe they’ll surprise me. Right now, though, I’m counting this as a fairly simple W.

UAB had a special season last year under Bill Clark, but Tennessee is still the superior team. The Vols beat UAB to kickoff November and move to five wins, putting them one win away from reaching a bowl game for the first time in three seasons.
