I know UTC’s offensive line was very experienced — they returned all five starters from last season — but Tennessee’s defensive line still should’ve done better than what they did on Saturday. The Vols’ front three or four guys never really got much pressure on UTC’s quarterback, and the line was a big reason the Mocs were able to total 151 rushing yards. Matthew Butler is really the only D-lineman who stood out.

Considering the opponent, Tennessee’s defensive line wasn’t good enough. The group didn’t generate a ton of pressure. They recorded just one pressure and didn’t record a sack. It led to Tennessee-Chattanooga rushing for 151 yards, which is too much for an FCS team.
