Look: Photos And Notes from Tennessee’s sixth spring practice

    by -

During today’s practice, Roman Harrison, Jalin Hyatt, Walker Merrill, Malachi Wideman and Tiyon Evans were in full pads. Jeremy Banks was out there warming up with team, not in pads, then quickly moved indoors once the stretch period was over.

Len’Neth Whitehead, LaTrell Bumphus, Jimmy Holiday and Neiko Slaughter were in their black jerseys today, signaling no contact.

I thought the QB’s were throwing pretty well against air, but as we were watching them run “Rub-Corner routes”, there were a lot of overthrown passes and dropped balls by receivers.

By the way, Dee Beckwith is a massive running back, who looks like he glides through the air when running the ball in drills. Also, TE Myles Campbell was getting a lot of personal time with coach Alex Golesh today while we were out there, he’s a very big TE that gets off the line quick.

Tennessee hit the practice field for practice No. 6 of spring practice on Tuesday  afternoon. The Vols were in pads today and it was the fourth time media members were able to view practice in over a year. Here’s photos from today’s practice:

The Vols will be back on the field Thursday, as they’re scheduled for their first scrimmage of the spring.
