The Tennessee Volunteers were back on the indoor practice field bright and early on Tuesday morning. The Vols have had a total of four practices after returning from a quick winter break with a big goal in mind. After finishing the regular season with a record of 7-5, the Vols will have a chance to secure one more win.
Tennessee will play in the 2021 TransPerfect Music City Bowl against Purdue on Thursday, Dec. 30. Purdue has been an impressive team this year, beating two Top 5 teams to achieve a record of 8-4 in the season.
The Vols were back at work on Tuesday continuing many of the same routines from the practice on Monday.
Something of note, though, is the addition of three-star defensive lineman Jordan Phillips from the 2022 class. Phillips was an early enrollee and is the first member of the 2022 class to join the team on the practice field. In the video, Phillips is No. 90 and is practicing in an orange jersey.
