Sunday Night Football Week 10 Preview: Odds for Chargers vs. 49ers
The Chargers and Niners are not the best teams in the league this year, but both are holding a middle ground in their respective conferences. The Chargers (5-3) are second in the AFC West, while the 49ers (4-4) are second in the NFC West.
Here’s how DraftKings lists the various odds for Sunday’s game.

While the Chargers have a slightly better record, the 49ers are the favorites playing at home. Now that the lineup is fairly set, the 49ers are expected to deploy a solid offensive game than they’ve shown thus far.
On the Chargers’ side, injuries and a weaker offense have them entering Week 10 as the underdog in this matchup. Many pundits expect offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi’s job to be on the chopping block soon. QB Justin Herbert and his Chargers have been down 10 or more points after the first quarter for four consecutive games. They managed to scrape out wins in three of those four, but the revitalized 49ers might be too much for the battered LA team.
