Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel met with the media on Monday afternoon in Knoxville to open up the Vols’ South Carolina week.
South Carolina will host No. 5 Tennessee this Saturday night under the lights in Columbia, South Carolina.
With the Missouri game now in the rearview mirror, Heupel did give his final thoughts on that game before flipping the switch to the Gamecocks. Heupel spoke about some of the injuries that Tennessee dealt with, and also some of the schematic decisions during the game, including the last touchdown at the end of the game.
Heupel also turned his attention to South Carolina and spoke about how the Vols are going to have to be well-prepared against the Gamecocks’ stingy special teams units.
