Tennessee baseball head coach Tony Vitello met with the media to discuss the Vols’ walk-off, series-clinching victory over Texas A&M in Knoxville on Saturday.
Vitello shared his thoughts on Chase Burns and Andrew Lindsey’s performances on the mound, how encouraging it is to see the offense get started early and more.
Furthermore, Vitello talked about the difference in the team’s ability to bounce-back from early adversity this weekend compared to last weekend.
“That kinda starts with the attitude and the energy you bring into the park that day,” Vitello said. “These kids love playing in this environment. And I know it’s a tough environment to pitch in, to play in when you’re the opposing team.”
