Where Tennessee Baseball Ranks After Dropping Series At Georgia

Tennessee baseball’s winning streak came to a close last week as the Vols’ road struggles continued. Tennessee took game one of the series opener at Georgia before dropping game two and three.

The Vols opened up a massive lead late in game one before Georgia took game two and a disastrous fifth inning did Tennessee in during game three Sunday afternoon.

Tony Vitello’s sixth Tennessee team is in the home stretch of the regular season. The Vols face Austin Peay Tuesday before hosting Kentucky for their final home series of the season next weekend.

The Vols are falling in the rankings after a disappointing weekend in Athens.
