This Saturday, all eyes will be on the winner of the Kentucky Derby, Mage, who is up for a chance to chase the Triple Crown. But Mage isn’t the only horse to watch. We’ve got the odds for the Preakness Stakes below. But first, here’s how FanDuel’s promo code works.

How to Claim Your FanDuel Promo Code Bonuses

We’ll explain below how the offers work, but first, here’s how to use our exclusive FanDuel promo code while you enjoy the Preakness Stakes this weekend.

  • Visit the FanDuel Sportsbook website.
  • By clicking the unique promo link above, you’ll automatically see the FanDuel promo applied to your account as you register.
  • Next, click “Join Now” and choose your state from the drop-down menu to proceed to your account setup.
  • The next few pages will guide you through an easy registration process. First, you’ll need to set up an email and password to log in from any device. Then, FanDuel will ask for personal information like your name, address, and social security number. All legal sportsbooks require these details to ensure you are betting legally.
  • Download the FanDuel Sportsbook app to your mobile device so you can bet on the go. They have one of the most user-friendly apps of any sportsbook.
  • Link a payment method and make a deposit of at least $10. Then, make your first wager to activate the promo!
  • Next, go over to FanDuel racing to place a bet on the Preakness. You can easily navigate to FanDuel Racing by clicking on “Racing” under the sports section of the app.

How the FanDuel Promo Code Works for the Preakness Stakes

FanDuel is offering new users two exciting ways to get bonus bets during the Preakness. New users can claim their popular $1,000 No Sweat First Bet on FanDuel Sportsbook and then visit FanDuel Racing to claim a $20 No Sweat Bet.

Simply sign up for the ongoing FanDuel offer via our exclusive FanDuel Promo Code link and then head over to FanDuel Racing and claim your $20 bet on the Preakness.

FanDuel’s No Sweat First Bet works with your first bet on the sportsbook. Using the exclusive FanDuel promo code during signup, you’ll qualify for a bonus after making your first bet.

Make a first bet of at least $5 on any sports betting market. If that bet loses, FanDuel will reimburse you for that loss in the form of bet credits up to a value of $1,000. You can then use those credits to make another bet with FanDuel.

The Preakness bonus works the same way. Go over to FanDuel Racing after you set up your FanDuel Sportsbook account. Make a bet on the Preakness Stakes this weekend and win or lose, FanDuel will give you $20 in bet credits. FanDuel Racing is separate from FanDuel Sportsbook, but it is accessible through the FanDuel Sportsbook website.

Again, you can use those credits to make another bet, but you can’t cash them out.

Betting Preview and Odds for the Preakness Stakes

Preakness Day is a whole-day event of 14 races, all of which you can bet on with FanDuel Racing. The big event — the Preakness Stakes — is the second-to-last race of the day, set for a post time of 7:01 p.m. ET.

As we’ve mentioned, casual viewers and seasoned bettors alike have their attention focused on Mage, who won the Kentucky Derby and is the favorite in the Preakness as well. As any horse that wins the Derby, Mage is this year’s hopeful for the Triple Crown, which hasn’t been won since American Pharaoh in 2015. (Bob Baffert’s Justify also won in 2018 but was stripped of the title after it was found the horse had failed a drug test before the Kentucky Derby.)

While Mage is the favorite, history shows us that it’s rare for horses to win the Derby and the Preakness. In 150 years, just 36 horses have done. 48 horses that lost the Derby won the Preakness, and 26 Derby winners have placed but not won in the Preakness.

Here are the odds for the Preakness Stakes from FanDuel Racing.

  • Mage: 8/5 (+160)
  • First Mission: 5/2 (+250)
  • National Treasure: 4/1 (+400)
  • Blazing Sevens: 6/1 (+600)
  • Red Route One: 10/1 (+1000)
  • Perform: 15/1 (+1500)
  • Coffeewithchris: 20/1 (+2000)
  • Chase The Chaos: 50/1 (+5000)
