Week 5 of the NFL season has officially concluded.
Thirty former Vols are on rosters this NFL season, representing 20 different teams. Twenty saw action in Week 5.

S Micah Abernathy – Atlanta Falcons
On the practice squad.
DE Derek Barnett – Philadelphia Eagles
Did not record a stat in Philadelphia’s 23-14 win over the Rams, but he did play 23 percent of defensive snaps and 30 percent of special teams snaps.
DT Matthew Butler – Las Vegas Raiders
On the practice squad.
WR Marquez Callaway – Las Vegas Raiders
On the practice squad.
LS Morgan Cox – Tennessee Titans
Snapped for three field goals and one extra point, all of which were successful, and one punt.
QB Joshua Dobbs – Arizona Cardinals
Completed 15 of 32 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns along with two interceptions. Dobbs also lost a fumble in Arizona’s 34-20 loss to the Bengals. It was Dobbs’ worst performance of the season since Week one, but he still made a couple of good throws, especially the touchdown to Marquise Brown.

TE/FB Princeton Fant – Dallas Cowboys
On the practice squad.
QB Hendon Hooker – Detroit Lions
Inactive as he remains on the NFI list still rehabbing his ACL injury.
WR Jalin Hyatt – New York Giants
Did not receive a target in the Giants’ 31-16 loss to the Dolphins. Hyatt played 46 percent of offensive snaps.
S Theo Jackson – Minnesota Vikings
Jackson did not record a stat in Minnesota’s 21-13 win over the Panthers, but did play two percent of defensive snaps and 71 percent of special teams snaps.
WR Jauan Jennings – San Francisco 49ers
Caught his only target for 19 yards in San Francisco’s 42-10 bludgeoning of Dallas on Sunday Night Football. Unsurprisingly, the catch came on third down.

LB Alexander Johnson – Miami Dolphins
On the practice squad.
FB Jakob Johnson – Las Vegas Raiders
Did not log a stat but played 16 percent of offensive snaps and 33 percent of special teams snaps in the Raiders’ 17-13 win over Green Bay on Monday Night Football.
WR/PR Velus Jones Jr. – Chicago Bears
Did not log a stat or return a punt of kick in the Bears’ dominant 40-20 win over the Washington Commanders last Thursday night on Thursday Night Football. Jones played 8 percent of offensive snaps and 60 percent of defensive snaps.
RB Alvin Kamara – New Orleans Saints
In his second game of the season, Kamara had a big day in the Saints’ 34-0 blowout win over the Patriots.
Kamara logged 22 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown while also catching three passes for 17 yards.
Kamara’s touchdown broke a Saints record, as it marked his 73rd touchdown as a New Orleans Saint, making him the new leading touchdown man in Saints’ franchise history.

OL Cade Mays – Carolina Panthers
Played 14 percent of special teams snaps (three total) and three percent of offensive snaps (two total) in the Panthers’ 21-13 loss to Minnesota.
CB Emmanuel Moseley – Detroit Lions
Moseley returned to action for the first time this season after tearing his left ACL in Week 5 last year, but it was a nightmare day for Moseley, as he tore his other ACL in the contest and is out for the remainder of the season.
Moseley did not a log a stat against the Panthers prior to getting injured.
WR Joshua Palmer – Los Angeles Chargers

RB Cordarrelle Patterson – Atlanta Falcons
In his second game of the season, Patterson logged his first stat of the year, catching one pass for seven yards. Patterson also returned two kickoffs for 35 yards.
Patterson played six percent of offensive snaps and 21 percent of special teams snaps.
DE Kyle Phillips – New Orleans Saints
On the practice squad.
LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin – Detroit Lions
Reeves-Maybin recorded one special teams tackle in the Lions’ 42-24 win over the Panthers. The VFL did not play a defensive snap but played 78 percent of special teams snaps.
OG Trey Smith – Kansas City Chiefs
Played 100 percent of offensive snaps at starting right guard and 21 percent of special teams snaps in the Chiefs’ 27-20 win over the Vikings.
CB Cameron Sutton – Detroit Lions
Tallied five tackles, three solo, and played 99 percent of defensive snaps in Detroit’s 18-point win over the Packers.
CB Alontae Taylor – New Orleans Saints
Had a great day in New Orleans’ blowout win over New England, totaling six tackles, five solo, and played 76 percent of defensive snaps and 19 percent of special teams snaps as a starting corner for the Saints.
DE Darrell Taylor – Seattle Seahawks

WR Cedric Tillman – Cleveland Browns

DL Shy Tuttle – Carolina Panthers
Recorded four tackles, one solo, in Carolina’s loss to the Lions and played 75 percent of defensive snaps while also playing 26 percent of special teams snaps.
OT Darnell Wright – Chicago Bears
Played every offensive snap as the starting right tackle in Chicago’s win against the Commanders on TNF last week. Also played 27 percent of special teams snaps.
DT Kendal Vickers – Buffalo Bills
On the practice squad.
DE Byron Young – Los Angeles Rams
Young recored two total tackles, one QB hit, and played 73 percent of defensive snaps as a starting defensive end in L.A.’s loss to the Eagles.
Young also played five percent of special teams snaps (one snap).
