Tennessee has made the final four for linebacker Brayden Rouse, according to a report from On3 Sports’ Hayes Fawcett on Wednesday.

Rouse’s top four includes Texas, Michigan, Alabama, and Tennessee.

Fawcett’s report also states that Rouse will take an official visit to each program this spring with Tennessee receiving the final one. Rouse will go to Alabama on May 30, Michigan on June 6, Texas on June 13, and Tennessee on June 20.

Tennessee first offered the 2026 linebacker in August 2024 and got him on campus three times last fall. Rouse was in the building for Tennessee’s games against Florida and UTEP and attended a playoff practice in December.

In January, Rouse attended Tennessee’s Junior Day recruiting event. Four days later, On3’s VP of Recruiting, Steve Wiltfong, recorded a prediction for Tennessee to get the commitment.

“Really enjoyed my time at Tennessee’s Junior Day,” Rouse posted to X on Jan. 18. “Loved spending time with the coaches and staff!”

Rouse was also present for Tennessee’s Orange & White spring game on Saturday, April 12, in Neyland Stadium.

A native of Marietta, GA, Rouse plays for Kell High School. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound prospect is a multi-position player for the Longhorns on both sides of the ball. According to 247, Rouse took snaps at linebacker, EDGE rusher, safety, wide receiver, and tight end during his junior season.

247 Sports’ Composite Rankings have Rouse ranked as a four-star prospect, the No. 83 player in the ’26 class, the No. 5 linebacker in the nation, and the No. 9 player from the state of Georgia.

Tennessee currently has seven commitments in the 2026 class, led by five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon. The Vols also boast commitments from four-star offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda and Knoxville native (Knox Catholic) wide receiver Tyreek King.

Tennessee did lose a commitment from four-star DL Tyson Bacon on Thursday, though. That move dropped the Vols to No. 21 in 247’s 2026 Team Rankings after previously landing at No. 14 on April 8.
