Tennessee basketball added a pair of shooting guards to its roster last week, landing Louisiana Tech’s Amaree Abram and French prep guard Clarence Massamba.

With those two additions to its roster, Tennessee currently has just one scholarship remaining and Rick Barnes indicated last week that the Vols will hold onto it for the time being. So how does Tennessee look ahead of the 2025-26 season with its roster almost set?

As expected, it’ll be a new look Volunteer team. Tennessee lost key players Zakai Zeigler, Chaz Lanier, Jordan Gainey, Jahmai Mashack, Darlinstone Dubar and Igor Milicic to graduation. That group includes a pair of All-SEC players and five of the Vols’ top six players.

Tennessee returns three key front court players in power forward Cade Phillips as well as centers Felix Okpara and JP Estrella. Barnes and his staff went out and added Vanderbilt power forward Jaylen Carey to bolster its front court for next season.

In addition to Abram and Massamba, Tennessee added Maryland point guard Ja’Kobi Gillespie and three-star prep point guard Troy Henderson to its roster. The Vols also made waves on the wing where they landed top five prep recruit Nate Ament and four-star Amari Evans.

A handful of way too early top 25 rankings have updated in the last week since Tennessee added Abram to its roster. Where do the Vols land? Taking a look here.
