On Monday, Tennessee football will kick off spring practice ahead of year six under head coach Josh Heupel. With the Vols looking to bounce back from an 8-5 (4-4 SEC) campaign in 2025 and return to the College Football Playoffs, there are a number of questions that need to be answered, including the quarterback position.
Tennessee will host a battle between George MacIntyre, Faizon Brandon and Ryan Staub, with Joey Aguilar out of eligibility and not granted another year. The Vols also bring in a new defensive coordinator, Jim Knowles, as they attempt to retool a defense that left a lot to be desired a year ago.
As UT looks to get a better idea of what it has during this period of practice, Vegas has released betting odds for the winner of the upcoming national championship. Tennessee clocks in at +5000 on FanDuel.
This mark for the Vols is the 17th-highest in the country. It is also the ninth-best mark in the SEC.
