One of the priority Tennessee football targets in the 2027 class has set his commitment date. Four-star legacy linebacker Kenneth Simon II will announce his choice of college on May 11, he announced on Instagram.
Simon is the son of Kevin Simon, a former Tennessee linebacker in the early 2000s. His son, Kenneth, will be choosing between a quartet of SEC schools in the Vols, Alabama, Georgia and Ole Miss.
Simon ranks as a four-star prospect, via 247. He is the No. 132 recruit in the nation, No. 7 linebacker and No. 6 player from the state of Tennessee. He plays for Brentwood Academy outside Nashville.
However, things seem to be trending for Simon to leave the Volunteer State and join arch-rival Alabama. Bama 247 reporter Brett Greenberg placed a prediction for Simon to commit to the Tide on Wednesday.

Displays impressive downhill thrust as he shoots forward and closes gaps. Swiftly changes directions from a second-level perch and takes sharp angles to the football…”

If Kevin Simon’s son had Orange blood he would have already committed to Tennessee football… good luck to him.
