Tennessee football’s fourth test of the 2025 season will be against UAB at home. Coming off a brutal loss to Georgia in which the offense dominated, there’s no reason to think the attack will slow down against the Blazers. Not only is the UT offense firing on all cylinders, but the UAB defense is among the worst in FBS.
When going down the list of different defensive stats, UAB is routinely ranked last in the American Conference and in the 100s among FBS programs. Out of the 14 teams in the American, the Blazers’ defense is the worst in 3rd down conversion percentage, rushing yards allowed, points allowed, team passing efficiency and total yards allowed.
Of the 136 FBS teams, those marks sit at 130, 129, 121, 133 and 129, respectively.
