
Tennessee football returns to Neyland Stadium for a critical SEC matchup on Saturday night when they face SEC foe Oklahoma in the 2025 “dark mode” game. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET with ABC broadcasting the matchup.
Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe are on the call for ABC. It’s the second Tennessee game that the trio are calling this year. They previously announced the Vols’ loss against Georgia
After playing its first six games under the sun, Tennessee is playing its third straight night game dating back to its loss at Alabama. The Vols have played two games in the early, noon, time slot and four games in the afternoon game slot including their SEC matchups against Mississippi State and Arkansas.
It’s a solid though not elite week 10 slate in the SEC. Vanderbilt travels to Texas for a noon ET matchup on ABC, Florida and Georgia renew their rivalry at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC and South Carolina travels to Ole Miss for an ESPN night game.

The early November SEC matchup is highly significant for both team’s College Football Playoff hopes. Both the Vols and Sooners are 6-2 on the season. Tennessee is 3-2 in SEC play while Oklahoma is 2-2. With two losses each, Tennessee and Oklahoma must win out of its going to make it back to the playoffs for a second straight season.
Oklahoma climbed into the nation’s top five earlier this month but has dropped two of its last three games, falling to Texas and Ole Miss around a win at South Carolina.
Tennessee and Oklahoma have faced off just five times in program history. The Sooners hold a 3-2 all time lead in the series with Tennessee winning the lone SEC matchup 25-15 a season ago in Norman.
Tennessee football is 3.5-point favorites over Oklahoma according to the DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 56.5.
