As five-star running back recruit David Gabriel Georges prepares for his senior season, he’s posted a few videos of himself going through offseason workouts. In each, he’s pulled off jaw-dropping feats, further cementing himself as one of the cycle’s best backs.
Most recently, Gabriel Georges posted a pair of videos in the weight room. The first is of him doing a power clean cluster of 315 pounds, then bench pressing 375 pounds. He followed it up with a video of himself doing a trap bar deadlift of 725 pounds.
For some context, Rivals noted that Derrick Henry, considered one of the best running backs of this generation due to his combination of speed and strength, recorded a 655-pound trap bar deadlift in high school. Gabriel Georges already has that mark well cleared.

Prior to these videos circulating, Gabriel Georges posted his 40-yard dash. He ran it in 4.38 seconds, which would’ve been tied for the 20th-best 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine this past March and fourth among running backs.
According to 247 Composite, Gabriel Georges is a five-star recruit and the No. 10 prospect in the 2027 class. He is the No. 2 running back in the class, though, behind Georgia commit Kemon Spell.
Recently, Gabriel Georges narrowed his recruitment down to four schools. He is focusing in on the Vols, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Georgia. While you can’t rule out the Rebels or Bulldogs, the consensus seems to be it’s between Tennessee and the Buckeyes. OSU even sent a good bit of its coaching staff to see him recently.
