Lady Vols basketball’s ACC-SEC Challenge opponent is set. Tennessee will meet Virginia Tech in Blacksburg on Dec. 3, 2026. This is the second year in a row UT will play on the road in the challenge after playing at Stanford last season.

In that game against the Cardinal a year ago, Tennessee won 65-62. The win came behind a strong game from Talaysia Cooper, who transferred to Ole Miss this offseason. She produced 19 points, six assists, two rebounds and nine steals in the win.

The Lady Vols are 2-1 in the history of the ACC-SEC Challenge, including 2-0 under Kim Caldwell. She also led UT to a win over Florida State at home in her first season.
